  1. Assessor

  2. Building & Zoning

    The Department of Building Safety is responsible for the issuance of all construction permits, related inspections, property code and zoning ordinance enforcement.

  3. Clerk

    The City Clerk shall be the ex-officio clerk of the City Council and shall keep a complete record of the proceedings of the Council.

  4. Fire

    The Fire Department's mission is to protect the community from harm through professional delivery of fire suppression and rescue.

  5. Office of the City Manager

    The City Manager shall be the chief administrative officer of the City, responsible to the Council for the administration of all matters placed in the City Manager’s charge by the Council by authority of the Charter.

  6. Parks

    The city has 49.52 acres of land area dedicated for parks.

  7. Police

    The Bridgman Police Department consists of (5) full-time Officers, (8) part-time Officers & (4) Reserve Officers who strive to serve & protect our community.

  9. Treasurer

    The City Treasurer shall perform all duties as required by State law, the Charter and the City Council.

  10. Water & Sewer

    The Bridgman water system was originally constructed between 1927 and 1929. The current Water treatment plant and buried intake were constructed in 1958.
