Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Requests

The basic function of the Freedom of Information Act is to ensure informed citizens, vital to the functioning of a democratic society. The City Clerk's Office serves as Freedom of Information Act Coordinator for the City of Bridgman. A FOIA Request must be a written request. A FOIA Request form is available. Submit the request to the Clerk's office in any of these ways:

  • Hand-deliver to the Clerk's office
  • Mail to:

  • Email the City Clerk and include "FOIA Request" in the subject line.

Processing Time

Reminder: FOIA requests may take up to five business days to process, and an extension of ten (10) additional business days may be needed, depending on the information requested.
