Yard Waste
Bagged Leaves: The City requires the use of biodegradable paper leaf bags. City workers will not pick up leaf bags made from any other material. Bagged leaves will be part of the Spring and Fall Cleanup Schedules.
Curb-side Leaf Pickup: In the fall only, residents have the option of raking their leaves to the curb, where they will be picked up by city workers using the city’s leaf vacuum. Fall leaf pickup will be weather dependent, which the service will be suspended if we receive measurable snow. We try our best to collect as many leaves as possible but sometimes Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.
Brush Chipping
Please limit brush to yard cleanup of your property. City workers will spend no more than 15 minutes at each property. Commercial tree removal/trimmings will not be picked up and should be disposed of by the tree service hired. Additional information on the city’s Brush Policy is available.
Large Trash Pickup
Twice a year, usually in the spring and fall, the city’s rubbish contractor will pickup large trash items. Additional information on a list of acceptable items. Please refer to the Spring and Fall Cleanup Schedules above for the dates of pickup.
