The City is pleased to announce that overwhelming interest in Hometown Heroes on Lake Street initiative to honor local veterans has exceeded expectations. Originally the City was accepting 26 applications for nominations to be displayed. With the unexpected response, the City expanded to 52 to allow a banner to be placed on all of the street lights on Lake Street. The City will have more information next year on when to apply for the 2018 season.
